Casa Batlló, located in the heart of Barcelona, Spain, is a stunning masterpiece designed by Antoni Gaudí. This iconic example of his visionary architectural style has an amazing tour and nighttime show that we absolutely loved during a recent trip.
Casa Milà, popularly known as La Pedrera, is Antoni Gaudí’s final civil masterpiece, crafted between 1906 and 1912. This architectural marvel showcases Gaudí’s unparalleled attention to detail and his ingenious incorporation of natural elements, making it one of Dylan's favorite of Gaudi's works.
Park Güell was also created by Antoni Gaudí and originally designed as a residential garden city. The public park offers stunning panoramic views of Barcelona, making it a perfect spot for both relaxation and sightseeing. You may notice we're a bit fond of Gaudi...but who could not be after being in Barcelona!
The Sagrada Familia is an iconic basilica located in the heart of Barcelona. It is an architectural masterpiece that will take your breath away and leave you in awe. Construction started in 1882 and is still ongoing to this day in pursuit of Gaudi's vision.
La Boqueria, Barcelona’s famous market, is a lively and dynamic cultural hub with great food and shopping. Here, you can find local specialties like Jamón Serrano, artisanal cheeses, and much more.
Hop on board the Montjuïc Cable Car and enjoy panoramic views of Barcelona. The cable car connects the city with the top of Montjuïc hill. Once you get to the top, you can visit Montjuïc Castle, Joan Miró Foundation, the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC), and the Poble Espanyol.
Castell de Montjuïc is an old military fortress, with roots dating back to 1640, built on top of Montjuïc hill in Barcelona.
The Tibidabo is the tallest mountain in the Serra de Collserola and visible from nearly every point in Barcelona. It offers breathtaking views over Barcelona and the sea. If you are feeling adventurous you can climb the steps to the highest point on the church for a truly memorable view.

Freixenet Winery, established in 1861, is renowned for its exceptional Cava. Freixenet offers a tour where guides take you through the intricate process of Cava-making, from the vineyards to the vast underground cellars filled with thousands of aging bottles. While it's about an hour outside the city, between the history, beautiful scenery, and great Cava, we highly recommend a visit if you have the time.
The Montserrat Monastery, with roots tracing back to the 9th century when the renowned Virgin statue was first documented, was officially founded in the 11th century. Visitors can immerse themselves in its rich history while enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Located about 45 km northwest of Barcelona, Montserrat is perfect for a half-day or full-day excursion, offering a wealth of sights and experiences to discover.
