Traveling
Airport
For those traveling from abroad, Barcelona-El Prat International Airport is about a 20 minute drive from the city. We suggest Uber/Taxi to get to and from the airport.
Barcelona is a very walkable city with excellent public transportation, making it easy to explore by foot. You can also rent a car if you’d like to explore areas outside the city.
Passport Requirements
Friendly reminder to check your passport's expiration date to ensure it is three months beyond your planned date of departure.
No Additional Requirements: The online ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) requirement has been delayed and will not impact US citizens traveling for the wedding.

We've included two room blocks as suggestions. That said, we’ve also highlighted several areas, each with its own unique charm and appeal. If you have any questions about the locations, hotels, or Airbnbs you find, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona
The website link will take you directly to the room block, which offers offers Deluxe Rooms and Junior Suites. The rates include breakfast. If theres another type of room you would like to book at the hotel, please let us know.
The Majestic Hotel is the host location of our Welcome Cocktail Party on April 24th. The Wedding Day transportation will also be departing from here.
Alexandra Barcelona Hotel
We have secured a discounted room block that can be booked using the link below. Please note, the cutoff date is January 21, 2025. It will no longer be possible to reserve rooms at the group rate or cancel your reservation after this date.
This hotel is a 5 minute walk to The Majestic.
PASEO DE GRACIA
We highly recommend staying on or near Paseo de Gracia for its central location, excellent dining options, and great shopping. It is the most beautiful street where you will find famous landmarks like Casa Batlló and La Pedrera.
Avaialble room blocks are in this area - Wedding Day buses will be departing from The Majestic on Paseo de Gracia
FRANCESC MACIÀ
We also recommend this area given its central location and proximity to other popular streets and famous landmarks. There are many restaurants, shops, and hotels on La Diagonal street and the area surrounding Plaça de Francesc Macià.
CIUTAT VELLA (OLD TOWN)
In the Old Town and Gothic Quarter areas of Barcelona you'll be surrounded by history, medieval charm, local culture, and historic landmarks like the Cathedral of Barcelona.
BEACH AREAS (LA BARCELONETA / VILA OLIMPICA)
Beach areas like the Barceloneta and Vila Olimpica have stunning coastal views, contemporary architecture, and a unique blend of relaxed and vibrant energy.
Sant Cugat
Sant Cugat, where Caroline grew up, is a charming, quiet town north of Barcelona. It's a quick 15 minute trip by public transportation to get into the city (15/20 minute drive) and it's close to the wedding venue. The town center has many cute shops and nice restaurants.
